I do not know the modern production line process by any means, but I was only hoping for something like: "OK, this production line is where we assemble the (a) package for customers that order it. But for this car the customer only wanted item 1 and 4 from (a) package, so only those items will be added."

I can't see why that would be to hard to accomplish.

Will the option to add leather to the 1ss ever change? I'd love steering wheel controls and leather but can't afford to upgrade to 2SS
