Best oil? You Decide, here is a study.

http://www.bestcovery.com/best-synthetic-oil

http://www.syntheticoilreviews.com/

I found this when researching what oil I should use in my car, I was thinking of using royal purple or mobile 1 now Im not sure... need to do more research.

From what I understand about Royal Purple, a lot of the hype is unsubstantiated. I've been using Mobil 1.

What about additive, like lucus and stuff like that to help stop wear, exp on the v6 motors with high RPMs

mobil 1 ftw

no additives neccessary, ive blown hundreds of $ tryin different things on different cars... the only thing i think is worth adding to the fuel/oil is seafoam, and only doing this on older cars, def not putting anything besides premium fuel and mobil 1 in this sucker until someone proves better!

i hear Castrol Edge is a lot better than Mobil 1... It's a bit more expensive though.

Pennzoil Platinum. UOA's are excellent, and shows to outperform Mobil 1 repeatdly in those UOA's. Oil is priced right, and it is currently the only oil that is DEXOS certified, which is GM's new oil certification.

The first and third website's listed above are just amsoil stealth promotional websites. Advertising like this really turns me off on trusting their products. Of course, if you believe everything your read on the internet..........
