It also depends on what your powers are. You don't get to choose. Not everybody's powers are, uh, desireable.

X ray vision would be cool, but you would also see many things that you never want to see again. You might want to jab a fork into your eyes after a few days.

I really like this thread. Star Trek is a nice choice, but I gotta give this one more thought.

What? All sci-fi fans must still be living with their parents? I have my own house , pay my own bills, have a wife, hopefully kids someday, build models, build computers, drive fast cars, shoot guns, never sleep, party, and hang out with friends all the time. Even with my movie rack chock full of sci-fi movies. Bad stereotype.
