And on the rims... I'm keeping the stocks and will have them powdercoated black and the rears widened 2". I don't really care too much for an old school look on this car... it has retro cues but in it's total execution it is decidely modern.
How much do you figure black powdercoating would run for the stock 20's?
Thanks

They really look old school plus the rims i have right now are Bosses and they are really reliable
Nice choice of wheel,
I plan on going with these: Ruff Racing R280 in 20x8.5 (F) and 20x10.5 (R) in chrome , but will need to check with them to see if they'll fit once the 5th gens start making their presence known.

What about the stock rims, will they be cheap, weak, or poorly made. Because thats what i'm sticking with.

Did you see the X-100 Carbon-lip rim on MHT's website!!! OMG, that would make for one "bitchin camaro"!!!

I put 24" Dropstars (DS02) on my LTZ Avy 4 days after buying. Just took them off for the winter last week and I hate the look with the stock 20".

Oh well....and what the other guy said about "cheap rims" is absolutely true for all of those reasons. Also, the larger you go, the harder they are to get balanced properly....cool rims don't come cheap, but that's ok because you won't see yourself driving down the road everytime either!

I can't wait to see photos of everyone's rides...I'm sure we'll all come up with great customization ideas!!

This waiting is killing me!!

About $400 - $500. It's going to cost me about $500 total to get the rears widened 2". Another $1000 for tires (315/35/20 & 245/45/20 Nitto Invos)... so about $2k for the whole setup. Oh yea, rear spacers too, about another $100 - $150 for 25mm - 40 mm spacers.

Who makes these??? I think these are the same ones on the ZR1, but is there a specific brand that made these.
