To me Wheels and tires like that belong in Car shows and not for a street car...
I don't hate them, just don't think they would be practical for an everyday car like mine...
i see your point, this is my everyday car, and i dont mind beating on the rims... i do what i do for the passion of it, and i was going to do 23 in the front 24 in the back staggered, but Lexani had just made these to fit my car, when I got them... the owner was building another camaro i think, and these fit perfect... with the big wheel in the back, even though they fit, there needs to be suspension mod, to protect the bumper (when the car squats as you get on it)...

just cause the car looks like it does doesnt mean it isnt a street car, ive won shows, but I play with my toys everyday... i am going to be doing a twin turbo or super charger at some point and tweak the body a little... will prob go with 24s in the back if i do that, with a wider tire

What is wrong with someone wanting to go huge on wheels, for their own appearance taste? There is no right or wrong answer here.

22+'s for show
20's for go
18's for the diehard racers

All are correct answers, to the people buying them.
Great post....yea mine is for show, but i gotta tell ya, the camaro really hauls A$$ with 24s on it. If you race yours, I wouldnt go big. My inlaws and I have a procharger Nova and a Vega with a 632 nitrous motor.......i got the speed part covered already.

i run 255/30 up front and 275/30 on the back........would post pics but my camera is MIA

22" and a little drop...11" wheel and 315x25x22 tires in the back and will hook with 658RWhp 920ft lbs torque

It's not 24's but it sits mean and has a decent ride. More tire options too with a 22"...just a suggestion

I am not a fan of big tires because of weight but thats just on my car..
the 22"s look good. Nice rims..suppose u hook. I got drag radials and if I punch it at 40mph they will spin alil unless I warm them up.
24"s might look too big plus tire options suck..

Tires are the same type and height as factory, 28" OD. Weight is not a factor here because the rear wheel with tire only weighs 22lbs. Compare to the factory 42lbs.

What have I been thinking... While I've searched high and low for a way to fit 16" drag slicks under my car, you've been goin' the other way. How much faster ET's do those two footers get you?
