The only people that are gonna take a big hit on a GT350R are the ones that bought them for over MSRP....heck, Z/28 owners that PAID MSRP took a big hit on theirs! Even though the GT500 might be out next year and '19 is the last year of the 350R, I would be willing to bet that you will never see them on lots offered at 20% off MSRP like GM had to do to move Z/28s. I bought my Z/28 and my 350R right, as far as I'm concerned.
