agreed.... too many of them.... and to me they really don't have the wow factor... nice car, but not one I would want to run down to the dealer and get right away..... I noticed that they didn't really compare how each handles... and we know why....

Those poll results are just in writing, the proof will be in the pudding when Camaro sales well top the Mustanks.
I for one really love the interior of the Camaro, it is all a matter of taste. I see them fords all over the roads but when I see a Camaro I notice that they really stand out and have a tendency to turn heads everywhere. |

Good!! I like being in the minority. I still think the only mustang worth a sh*t was the 69& 70.

No question about it for me... I'm loving my Camaro and wouldn't even consider a Mustang instead. I'm not a Mustang hater, I think they are great cars. But for my taste, the new Camaro just jumps out and steals my attention, where the Mustang just sorta gets lost in the crowd. The performance advantage (stock) goes to the Mustang in many cases, but only by a little. And anyone who cares about performance isn't staying stock anyway, so who cares?
Ford did a great job on the 2011 Mustang and I think it's a wonderful car. I'm happy for all those Mustang enthusiasts out there and overjoyed that the age of the Muscle Car is back!!!!. But if I could choose all over again... I'd be driving off the lot in the same ride I enjoy every day right now; my 2010 2LT/RS Camaro!!!

Written by a freelance writer this article reads like it was written by a freshman sorority girl.
"oh look I can change my in dash colors!" Ooooooo "oh the camaro's interior isn't classy.....ewww..." - really since when did "classy" become a requirement for an interior of a muscle car?!?! I call BS.

Well, they can make all the comparisons they want to make, compare split seconds here and there, measure differences in millimeters, and one or two hp here or there. Then take both cars out in everyday driving and you will see that the Camaro kicks a$$ and turns heads. Mustang? People don't even notice it.

These are votes... let the sales speak for themselves:
11 months as #1, by a very wide margin at times... Thats how America does it.

I can't spit without hitting a Mustang. I have seen maybe 10 Camaro's in my area, and I love the hoots and hollas I get for having something original.

I don't hate the Mustang..I'm impressed with the '11 engine choices. But I have never, ever considered buying a Mustang, or 3 & 4 Gen Camaro either btw. Bang for buck, the 5th is pretty much king, in my opinion. |

Camaro over Mustang any day
I was in the market just last week for an American 2 doors coupe V6, of course the usual contenders were the Camaro 2010 and the mustang 2011, I test drove both and I rented the Camaro from my local Avis for a full one day.
The main problem (in general) with the mustangs is that THEY'RE STILL OLD, even for 2011 with all the changes. Here are some of the things that scream OLD or I didnt like in a mustang: 1)The chassis is mad old dated to before 2005 when the car first came out 2)Live rear axle (really? in 2010 and still live rear axle) 3)Radio antenna and the back of the car which gives it a less modern look (Camaro's antenna is integrated in the windshield) 4)The V6 dual exhaust on 2011 is ugly and the tips cannot be changed unless the exhaust is replaced by a Magnaflow or similar! 5)The remote key looks mad cheap, especially comparing to the Camaro cool remote key! 6)No sunroof! If you need some sun from the roof you need to buy the glass roof option for $1995 and you have to live with the fact that you will have a piece vinyl covering your head when you dont want the sun anymore! 7)The automatic is not that great because when you floor it the engine is not as responsive as the Camaro V6. When on the third gear and you floor this is when the Mustang really shine. The Camaro gives the feeling that your seat is pushing you forward when you floor it on almost all gears. I abused both cars and I can tell the difference. Needless to say I ordered a 2011 Camaro CGM/Black 2LT/RS package! Camaro rules...hands down, even if the "Car journalists" say differently, trust your instinct
