First pass yesterday

Had my first pass in my car yesterday got a 13.4. Kind of disappointed but oh well... Any help on improving my times will be appreciated.
Track was prepped nicely, car currently has SW Lts and a custom tune running on the stock 20's

Car is number 8040

Nice pass. That time looks about right for your mods. You would improve your 60' with a set of drag radials and a cold air intake might give a little as well.

If you are auto I'd stay 6L80E. Just get a very good trans cooler and get it tuned safely.

Would like to stay with the 6l80e however where i live no one can tune the trans properly. Ive seen a lot of camaros fail 2/3 months after getting tuned. The closest good tuner to me is in KSA and with my university schedule being too tight i just can't find see anyway of going there.

Give the fuse pull a try. It resets your octane tables to 93. Could boost you a little bit.

I'll give it a try next time. Thanks. The weather was also taking a toll on some other cars, Hopefully the weather will cool down for the next round.

Id say that is slow my friend. I had intake, headers, tune, stock (bald) tires and 20's, and I went 12.9, in bad weather. I am also an auto.

If you don't have an intake, id give you another tenth or so, but still.

Did you take some air out of your rear tires (for traction)?

Did you turn tc off? At your hp level, you should be able to manage traction with your foot pretty well.

Try a run with TC on/comp mode(leaving it on or hitting the button twice) and one with TC off (press the button once if I remember correctly)

Are you launching from idle or a holding the brake and gas to launch at a bit higher rpm?

Heat will kill you there, let it cool down between runs, but let it idle a little before you shut it off. I always pop my hood on the way back to the staging lanes to help get some of the hot air out of there.

and just curious, what kind of car was in the other lane?

Yeah i figured it was slow thats why I'm a bit disappointed.
I ran with the traction control completely off (held it down for 7 seconds)
Launched around 900 rpm but didn't let air out, figured id leave it like that for my first run and see.

The other car a was gutted 2013 charger RT with DR's, headers, intake and custom tune

The shop Joseph is at can't tune the trans?

You might also get some basic tuning from the US and then you could get HPT and tune shift points yourself.

I went 13.15@106 all stock.

I went 12.7@110 longtubes, cats, UDP, tune on stock tires.

I went 12.3@112 20" DR, headers, cats, UDP, CAI, Tune.

Unfortunately not, i quit FB years ago, but Kuwait is around 7 hours by car Theres another guy called Hisham Al-mulla, I don't know if you've heard of him he's supposed to be the best in the gulf right now. He's closer than me to Kuwait if i had to go that route.
