Sparks 2014 - 2015 SS emblem on a 2010

For those who are still looking for an SS emblem for their 2010, Sparks no longer makes that year (2010 - 2013).
I’m in the process of making the 2014 - 2015 emblem work on my early build 2010 ( locating holes in the trunk lid).
There will be some machining involved to the emblem.
I’ll post pics as I go along, for those that this would be helpful to.
Bowtie removed.

The ‘14 emblem is basically flat, so it’ll have to be machined in order to sit on the body work correctly. Approximately 4.5 degrees from center to the outer edges of the emblem should be close.

5 degrees put it right on the money with my trunk.
It will cover up the right hole but, won’t quite cover the left hole on the trunk. I’m thinking something as simple as a piece of yellow tape will hide it. Need it to be a tad warmer before going any further, as I want the 3M tape to stick on the emblem.

When you have it down ...
Can you please measure the holes?
I have one vision, but I don't know if I would cover the holes because I don't know how big they are.

3.95” to the center of the holes.
4.40” to the outside of the holes.
Is that what you need George?

George, I put the image in autocad & scaled it to the dimensions 0stones0 provided. It should be very close. Maybe this will help other members as well.

Almost right on the money Acutron!
Left concentric hole you are correct - .315
Right oblong hole - width = .535. height = .405

10 mm does look better for the oblong hole. It's hard to tell with the paint. Gm might have used fractional punches but I figured metric. I hope this helps!

You’re doing a great service to the forum. I can’t believe they stopped making them though. Makes me glad I got mine a few years ago.

Thank you sir! I can certainly put more detail out there for those that need it.
I just couldn’t find anything remotely I liked that came close to the styling and build quality of the Sparks emblem.
The real problem is the holes in the trunk. Is what it is.
