Debadge ZL1 emblems from hood

I'm thinking of removing the ZL1 emblems from my hood. I've been "googling for photos of ZL1s with debadged hoods and so far the pics have been pretty scarce. If you've debadged your hood emblems, would you be so kind as to post some photos here so I can get an idea of how it looks without them.

Thanks!

Sorry to add only my own unhelpful opinion ... but ...

Personally I love that badge. No need to get rid of it. Leave it!

Thanks your car, do what you want

Mine came off and went back on black. Same process at taking off any of the badges. some fishing line usually does the trick.

I'm considering painting them black if I don't like the looks of them removed. Definitely painting the trunk emblem black.

I removed the Camaro lettering from the front fenders and really like the clean look it gives the car. That's why I'm thinking of doing the same with the hood letters.

I will be taking mine off the hood soon and putting them on the front fender where the Camaro badge is now. See no reason to have a Camaro badge on the side of the car. I like the hood being clear and think the ZL1 will look better on the side of the car. I notice the new Z/28 has taken this approach..

Thanks kevin for the photoshopped pics. Does make my car look a bit too plain without them. Looks like painting them black is the best option. Here's goes more of my paycheck to Lupe.

Thanks. Yes, those are SLP fade to black stripes. I like that from a distance they give the illusion that the gills have real openings.

I de-badged the whole car...If someone doesn't know it's a Z, then they are not car enthusiasts...I sure know what my car is...My .02 worth.
