OE Quarter Fender Flares, Anyone like them?
I really need to put some sort of mud guards on my Camaro to help protect the sides from damage due to the cinders that Cal-Trans puts down here in the winter time. They hang around on the roads 'till the middle of summer. The factory flares seem kinda big and look like an afterthought. Any opinions or suggestions? Thanks!

I have them and like them. I put them on about a month after I bought the car. After almost a year, I have no rock chips.

Definitely... they are a paint saver! Plus they give a little more lowered look..

There are a bunch of pics that you can see how they look. After I had the same questions and then looked at pics, I decided to order a set. I plan to put them on as soon as the car comes out of hibernation.
for a side note, if you eBay, you can get them on eBay MUCH cheaper than from the dealer. I saved over $100 by doing that |

Thanks everyone! I think I'll order a set. Even at $200 thats far cheaper than a trip to the body shop.

$139.00 at GM Parts Direct. Shipping is pretty expensive, but still much cheaper than $199.00.

I personally do not like them, as you mentioned, they look like an after thought. We sell them for a great price delivered here at GM Parts House. If you talk to Josh @ RPI Designs, he will paint them all body colors.
