Yea I was playing around with that the next night and it made them a little bit brighter but not as much as others have theirs.

I am going to do this hopefully in the next week or so, but I am new to this so I had a few questions, so bare with me haha

1) What exactly do you mean by t-tapping the LED wires with the traction control ones? Is t-tapping the same as splicing?
2) What could I use to substitute a dermal?
3) Could I install these into the glove box, both the center one, and the dash one?

Thanks for any help!

I ordered the factory ice blue led lights from PatrickT at the GM Partshouse. I had the blue leds from Oznium but didn't like them because they didn't match the abl.
I made 2 small holes and removed the plastic housing from the leds and just pushed them through the bottom of the hole and used gorilla tape to keep them in place

I ordered this plate off ebay and had it powedercoated to try and match the color but it turned out a little lighter than the shifter plastic

Think it turned out good

Has anyone done this mod with a 2013 Vert yet? Just traded my 2010 2LT for a 2013 RS LT Vert, and was curious if there were any wiring differences or suggestions from 2013 owners who might have done this mod. Thanks!!!

Having 2 different blues looked terrible and the red perfectly matches the dash. Actually I like it better this way anyway.
I've been looking - do you have a link for the footwells from ACC? I couldn't find a link, want to match the lighting . . .

Thanks

You mentioned it was a little tight . . . Was looking at the one you suggested because it has black aluminum option. Is opening the console horrible, or does it still work ok?
I like how this one doesn't have the camaro logo, and it appears to form fit the slopes on the middle part of the cup holder better.

Also the wires need to be cleaned up in the center console, there are two little holes under the rubber mat that I ran the wires through, but again I think at some point I may upgrade the controller to something smaller with a remote. This one works just fine for now though and I can change the LED colors to whatever I want with just a turn of the knobs.
Did you drill holes for wires to run from LED's? Saw a couple people putting holes in their cup holders. It there a way to avoid drilling into it?

If you don't want to drill, you can run the wires down into the console through the latch slot.

Do you mean GM ice blue? We have those, plus, any other color.
