Yes, it's been said time and time again by GM insiders, those are not the production headlights.

They were put together just for testing purposes.

Cool

These cars we are seeing are about 90%to 95% complete. There will be some changes once all the testing are complete, thats included the headlights.

I've read that too. If that is true, the fake scoop needs to go. Looks as bad as the stick on LUND hood scoops people put on their trucks
I think the scoop has major potential. On the concept it looks like there is an insert of some kind that's made to look like grill. You can do all sorts of aftermarket stuff with that. I say leave the scoop to keep it looking like that concept and for future asthetic purposes. Besides, the scoop is becoming a Chevy sports car trade mark.

What is that white car to the right of the black camaros, in the 2nd and 4th pic. It looks like a pontiac g8 but other pics you can see a chevy bowtie.

It's some sort of disguised Holden Commodore based Chevy. Similar test cars like this have been spotted a few times before

IMPALA?! WTF? That's pretty cool. I dig that car. I have a Jetta on which the lease runs out on in a little more than twelve months and will be seriously considering more GM products; they seem to be really stepping things up the last few years.

GO GM!!!

Its the Holden Lumina (which will be rebadged as the Commodore in the Mideast). The trucker's pickup slip showed it as such.

Pics I took

I'm with Noodles on the "missile launchers." I'm betting they are nothing more than digital readout pitot tubes hooked up to some laptop measuring mass flow, stagnation pressure etc. to see what kind of flow you get through the grill and air dam (hooray aerodynamics). You could use it to compute speed (at least the airspeed, if its in wind of any sort, there's obviously error, so you wouldn't get groundspeed as it were).

Some may stone me for this, but I actually don't mind the pre-pro lights that much. I kind of like the configuration (configuration, not the low quality). Obviously I don't want that much plastic sitting on the front of my Camaro, but those are my two hundredths of a dollar.

Another thing I wouldn't mind is if that slit on the hood became a NACA scoop type intake maybe as a Z28/SS appearance package option.

This car looks very similar to the Pontiac G8 that is coming out. I read in one of the latest car mags, that some Australian company like Lingenfelter put a Corvette LS7 engine into a Holden Commodore like the G8. Thay said it just slipped in with no problem. If it can fit into a Holden Commodore, putting one in a Camaro would be a snap.
