try...
1. pull the neg battery lead for 20 mins to see if it resets.
2. put it back to stock (battery disconnected is time)

If neither works, you broke something.

Alright so after tightening everything and rechecking all my lines, the radiator fan and power loss are gone but the rev hang is still there and is driving me crazy, anyone know a fix for just this issue?

I say post a video so we can see if this is normal, i'm FBO and i still have rev hang, now whether or not yours is considerably worse is where we can all see if its an issue or just normal.

Only other option is to put the OEM air kit back into the car.
I'm going to give you the realist answer, it's a KN. Return it and get a Rotofab.

Good you got it fixed. Being neck and neck with an ST that has 205hp less is unacceptable

I haven't driven a Camaro M6, but are you sure there wasn't rev hang before, but you now just noticed it because you installed an Intake? A lot of manufacturers implement rev hang for emissions purposes.

I had the rev hang in almost the exact same way when I installed my GM CAI on the LGX engine; it was because the system was running lean. Went away after I got the recalibration/tune.

Not saying that yours is definitely the same cause, but may be worth looking at the Short Term and Long Term Fuel Trims (if you have a ODBII reader) and seeing if they're majorly above ~10%.

Here’s a video, it will hang up while I rev match too so its a pain in the ass slowly waiting for the revs to drop

Have you tried unplugging the battery for 20-30mins to let it reset? My car did the exact same thing and this fixed the issue. I would also check the connections on the throttle body.

Thought I was the only one till reading this

I am having the same exact issues with the same exact air intake. Have done battery pulls, overnight as well, ecm and tcm resets. Still comes back. Took it to the dealer and they found no issues twice. No codes or anything. They said they have seen an intake do that before on the camaros and vettes. I thought they were jerking me around. I took it off and drove for a week or so and no problems went away.

It's upsetting and I did research on many intakes and it came down to this kn one and rotofab. Comparing the twos specs sheets from their tests on temps and humidity given from manufacturers on the days they tested and the kn was rated to produce more torque and hp on the ss's.

I was having a hard time believing it. Put your stock intake back on. Pull batt overnight will force ecm and tcm to relearn on next 20min drive.

Also can push ignition button for 10sec without start, pedal to the floor for 15 20sec, still holding pedal ignition off, release pedal, wait 5 minutes for tcm to reset, then 20 min drive to relearn.

I even tried taking off my tune, taking off throttle curve and response controller, and stock intake, and no issues for a week. Pulled batt and tried kn again with reinstallation, and tcm reset, after second lengthy ride issue came back with just intake on. Nothing else in the picture.

Tried all the above and putting stock intake back on was only fix for me.

Cold air intakes, including GM's own "performance air intake" part (RSK) require(d) a tune to adjust MAF scaling at the very least. If an intake does not require a tune, it also does nothing for performance.

Sorry to be the broken record, but this is just another in a long series of reminders that many aftermarket performance "improvements" are not worth the money and have unintended consequences, not to mention minimal or negative performance effects.
