The HUD may be controlled from the steering wheel's buttons. That's my guess. |

Spec sheet says concept shown or pre-production shown, subject to change. Someone also provided a link to somewhere which proved that the hud is chopped. It will be nice to have if it is a feature though.

So does this mean it won't start hitting dealer lots until March or April?
That's okay...I'll need the extra couple of months to save up for options

I rushed home from work for just a 10 minute video that didn't really enlighten me on why this would be the new Mustang, Challenger killer
Where's the SS? I want my Z28

wow that was the worst reveal ever, for quite possibly the best car ever. Congrats to all the designers and engineers on a beautiful car.
Whats the deal with the garage, that was terrible. My garage looks better than that one. Nice stick on chevy logos on the windows. Talk about a deer in the headlights..... look at the proportions uh uh look at the proportions uh uh proportions oh yeah theres an overhang some where here.... |

Part of me agrees with you, but another part has an inlkling of what those guys had to do to get this thing this far....The leadup and the specs were more fun than the reveal, but that will just make Indy more fun.....

Yea that webcast wasn't really good. However I am happy that the production Camaro will look that good, my only gripe is that GM didn't paint the shark fin antenna the same color as the body.

I just want to know when they'll show it driving. I mean; am I going to have to wait for Top Gear to review it to see it in action? And it's not like they will... it's an American icon, after all, not a European one.
Somebody take some serious video of some serious driving around a track... then I'll feel better about the reveal vid.

Right now it's an '03 Nissan Frontier Supercharged Desert Runner I call Starscream. On order is a 1SS/ RS IBM with Black Rally Stripes, Beige Interior, manual transmission and a sunroof! Oh, and a stereo upgrade too! Ordered from CamaroScotty in WI. How will I get my baby home? |

I was not at all impressed with the reveal. Looks like a scene from "Two Guys Garage" on Speed. Really no details about the engine, no multi-angle videos, no detail on the engine or interior and both webcasts (michigan and california) have an RS, no SS. Glad I was already off work to begin with.
The Hollywood reveal was much better, a nice long entrance, revolving platform, talk some specs, etc. I much more enjoyed reading about all the specs on the website. I am happy though that we're looking at 422 hp for the manual SS!!
