When I first saw the trailer I thought bird as well and was thinking Laserbeak. However, having the chance to get a better look it does appear more pteradon or even dragon looking. I've heard a lot of speculation that the Dinobots may be in this one, so it could possibly also be Swoop.

I'm thinking that flying bird transformer is named BUZZARD, a Lazerbeak inspired decepticon. I know Walmart is listing the toy-figure as: TRA MV3 DLX BUZZARD (UPC 65356960492)
