Trading a Camaro for a Silverado
I haven't pulled a trigger or even visited a dealer. I've been toying with the thought of trading my Camaro for a '15 Silverado. Has anyone on here traded theirs for another truck? If so, any regrets?

Once you go truck, you'll never go back.
Doesn't mean, though, that you'll never own another car like a Camaro... it just means that you will never be able to part with the truck. |

I sold my beater 94 Sierra about 6 months ago and can't tell you how many times I wish I had a damn truck. With that said I can not and could not live without having my Camaro or another similar vehicle in my life. Luckily things have been going good lately and in a few months I plan to add this bad boy or one very similar to my stable!
Absolutely love the new Silverado/Sierra they remind me of the 80s square body!

That's the thing guys...I was in trucks since my driving career began...my family has been a truck only family so growing up they were there as well...I traded a demodded 600+ hp Cummins in for this car and I just find myself needing a truck all the time. I would still have that truck but the $7,000 transmission cost made me think differently. I love this car to death, but man I feel I want a truck also. I can afford one or the other not both. I owe 11,3XX on my car so I know a good down payment will be there and I know rebates are crazy for trucks. I would want to get as close as possible to what I owe on my car though if I did do it.

the f150 is nice as well, but the only real thing I really liked over the Chevy was the cool BIG sun roof they had available. the Ford still rides like a Ford. I went back to chevy this go around.

If only the new silverado looked like a 4x4 and weren't so hideous looking on the exterior. I do believe they are a good truck. I would have to go with Dodge or ford these days. If I had to have one or the other, it would ha e to be a truck over a car.
