I understand this of course and have had my car for 3 years. I bought it new so I’ve used the NLS. I guess I should say it’s hard to not clutch in and out for every shift. After driving manual vehicles for so long.

Yeah it can be weird at first to not take your foot off the throttle but it's not too bad after doing it a few times.

Now to be fair the V6 uses the 3160 vs the 6060, so your mileage may vary.
NLS should not in theory be any worse for your transmission than lifting off the throttle. The speed at which you clutch in and out + high RPMs matters more than NLS or not. NLS is just cutting throttle, it doesn't cause any extra wear on the transmission than normal high rpm shifting.

I like the idea of NLS. I struggle with 40 years of muscle memory for my right foot. It just wants to lift during the shift. If I tracked or drag raced the car I guess I’d put in the practice to do NLS. Same for rev match - cool feature- I just prefer to do it myself.

This. Great novelty and would have latch on better if introduced earlier but...

I do like rev match for shenanigans though, classic on the down shift RAWR

OK, still trying to figure out the utility of NLS in a ZL1. Don't use it until 3-4 shift? I can be at triple digits before I shift to 4th. Unless I am on a drag strip, just don't see the point vs a regular shift. Not trying to be a butthead, but seems rather useless if you know how to drive a stick.

It's quite useful on the road course Especially feels like you're saving some time on upshifts along long straights

I may have to give it a shot, but honestly I only need one upshift on any track that I run and I have plenty of other areas that I can work on to gain time. This beast has plenty of grunt and tall gearing.

Well you bought the car with 650hp.

NLS is fairly useless is a SS 1LE outside of 1-2, since you are at illegal speeds for any other NLS gear shift.

Except for a track...
