Kenne Bell / Lingenfelter BAP part #'s

I mistakenly purchased Kenne Bell / Lingenfelter BAP part number KB89069 for my 2014 ZL1. But the specific part number is for zl1 is L460111410. The kits look very similar except for a couple of items like the new in line fuse and the pressure switch connector in the L460111410. Anybody know if the kits are compatible for the zl1 with the exception of the additional minor parts in kit L460111410?

Which leads me to also ask why do you cut off the existing in line fuse from the BAP. Then connect a new in line fuse that comes in the kit (L46011410). Why is the old inline fuse cut off?

KB89069 is just the Boost-a-pump from Kenne Bell and only costs about $250 at any dealer except Lingenfelter that sells it for $350. You have to source all the install parts you need for a Camaro yourself.

L460111410 is the kit Lingenfelter put together with everything extra you'll need to install in a Camaro. And that kit also costs $350. But it is complete and you won't need anything else but what they have put in the kit.

Read http://www.lingenfelter.com/PDFdownloads/L460111410.pdf and see the part list at the top of the instructions. You could buy the KB89069 for $250 and save the extra $100 and source what you need using the parts list in the Lingenfelter instructions.
But if you paid $350 for just the KB89069 from Lingenfelter, you paid way too much.

Good info as usual...I was wondering the same about the BAP kits, see them on Ebay for $250.00 all day, but evidently these are not complete kits for the ZL1...So if I ever get around to the E85 swap I'll just purchase the kit from the installer and call it a day...

Thanks for the info, I can't return the kit and will have to make it work

The only thing I see that is completely different and possible necessary is the grey female wiring connector (3 wires) that connects to the Hobbs switch (it's called the pressure switch connector harness). I know what the Hobbs does but I don't know what that grey connector harness actually does.
I'm going to try to use two simple female spade terminals and connect directly to the Hobbs switch, to me your just taking the power signal from the Hobbs switch back to the BAP box.
Also, anyone know why Lingenfelter instructions tell you to cut the existing inline fuse on the BAP and then tell you to connect there inline fuse that they provide in there kit?

Your right the Lingenfelter BAP kit L460111410 is over priced when you compare the additional components they give you. I can't get a hold of Lingenfelter to ask them what that grey Hobb switch harness actually does? let me know if you know??

The hobbs harness just snaps onto switch and has the 2 spade terminals and 3wires (2 wires go to 1 spade) encased in the harness, middle one is not used.

I also purchased what was advertised as the lingenfelter kit L460111410 in the classifieds but was sent the plain kb KB89069 , I contacted lingenfelter with the parts numbers on there instructions and they priced out the missing parts for me, around 68.00 buks shipped
