New Rubber

It pains me to have to buy new tires after just buying the car but, cest la vie, I live in Colorado. Just mounted up some 285/35/20 Pirelli Sottozeros for the winter ahead. Goodyears are basement bound. Call me crazy, but I can't wait for some snow to try these out on, lol.

Great looking rubber. I like the tread design! I could never understand driving a 600hp car in the winter , but to each his own.

Yea, not driving in the snow that much to be honest (that's the 4runners job), but I do want something that can take the 15 and 20 degree days we have coming up. Those goodyears are being stored until summer. I guess up a mile high it's really only a 450hp car, but hey, I love driving this thing and stay tuned for her first snow day

Why, because I can!!

Yikes, I drive mine when its cold quite often. I long ago replaced the stock goodyears with Nitto Motivo's. But I wouldn't drive it in snow. I put my time in as a kid, many years ago with anything rear wheel drive on snow. I have a beater for winter.

Just switched to the BFG g-force comp 2 for the Colorado winter. Just got the car also so I feel your pain on buying a new set! :-)

Did you buy yours online or find them at a local retailer?

I was looking at those as well but just decided to get the dedicated winter tires. Goodyears are sleeping in the basement until the summer.
