I am still on the fence. Just got the $77/year offer in the mail. It's my birthday coming up and Mrs G offered to get it for me for my birthday.

I've been having issues with my USB and iPhone hooked up to the car... so not sure if I should go ahead with the XM or not.

XM is worth maybe 5$ a month to me, and they aren't going to offer that sort of deal fulltime with no strings attached, so I'd rather not have it entirely.

I love my XM! Octane has new music months before the local FM stations start playing it. NHL Home Ice is great!!!
I can listen to Red Wings games uninterrupted for the whole drive to my cottage.

I kept it on my Tahoe when I had it but not on the SS. Since it is a weekend car and only get it out every now and then I didn't see the need for it.

Lifetime is really $599 for XM? Was $399 at one point which makes a whole lot more sense than $599 - really have to keep the car a long time to get the yearly cost to be a good deal now.

I paid $460 for lifetime last February. I live in radio hell so it was a deal for me. I also hate the Steve Jobs/Apple Cartel, so this was an option for some variety.

If you only listen to music on XM, I understand. College football coverage is great, and I like the variety of music you can get. Plus lots of public radio, I use XM a lot on my Equinox. And I rarely hear commercials....
