Is that chrome piece with the RS package removable? Or would you be forced to Plastidip it?

I purchased my 2013 SS convertible over waiting for the 2014 because I really liked the concept car and I loved my 1969 Z/28, in which, I think the 2010-13's look more like the 1969. Especially the front end. I also went with the polished 2010-12 wheel over the new 2013-14 wheel as it was closer to the concept car. I think the refresh is clean and nice looking overall and it was time for a change. This is not a drastic departure in styling as compared with the 1969 vs 1970 Camaro. The 1st gens always attract more attention and hold their value better than any of the other Camaros. The post '73 Camaros are not attractive and are not desirable either. Just like most of Detroit's cars from 1973 to the late 1990's. Poor design upgrades, lousy performance and terrible quality during this time.

Yup, ugly tail lights but the 2014 ZL1 front end remains the same as the 5th Gen ZL1

Maybe it will grow on me over time. But right now I am very satisfied with my 2013 and if I totaled it tomorrow and could not find a replacement '13 I would choose a Stingray instead of the "subtle" redesign of the 2014 Camaro's.

I am in the camp that Chevy dropped the ball on this refresh. My 2 cents.
You may consider it BS, but it's my observation based on the posts I've read. My reference to "latest, greatest" was made in the context of the Camaro's development and had absolutely nothing to do with the Stingray. As long as you're ordering a Camaro, I'm happy with your contribution to Chevy's sales lead.

I wanted a 14 SS and like you once I saw the butt ugly refresh I went out and purchased a 13 while I could still get one.The front of the 14 I could live with but the rear just looks cheap and the hole in the center of the hood ......................who the hell came up with that.I am sorry but they totally missed the mark on this one.

BINGO, good observation I agree

it reminds me of a new Charger...

Pick a gaggle of different marks over the last 30 yrs, Charger, Prelude, Integra. It smells of an attempt at pulling the line together with the new Vette, and the trend of minimalist , clean, simple styling (eye of the beholder ed and a "fad" that I hope quickly runs it's course).

the front end isn't too terrible, and it looks good going down the road, but it's almost like Chevy took a page from Ford and their refresh of the Mustang... all in all it's OK, but the refresh is why I bought a 2013 instead of waiting.

ZLone:
Ditto, I just traded my 010 SS/RS in for 013 ZL1 for fear the music would be over and me stuck with an 014. I could never live with myself if I pd that kind of money and had to look at the 014 tail. The plan was if I couldn't find a 013 leftover with exactly the options, color and if I had 2 settle on an 014
that I would only do so if I could replace the tail section with 013 or my own design. Thank fully I found an IOM in my backyard and JUST LOVE IT!

That said, the next time I bring a train down to Flat Rock, I think I'll have to stop in and check one out up close and in person.

I thought that you can make your comments here, weather you like the new 2014 or not.
