Tyler Dunne who was fired by the Buffalo News wrote this piece.

He seems to be pissed off that he can't get media credentials to cover the Bills

Apparently MCD apologized to the team right after this 9/11 thing happened

Here is a report on some of the contents of this hit piece:

Following his time with The Buffalo News and penning national features for Bleacher Report, Dunne broke off on his own to build his Go Long platform, and it’s done exceedingly well. Dunne oozes credibility as a writer, and his content remains both engaging and informative. But one thing that continues to anchor him is his lack of official credentials to report from the Bills’ facility. That hasn’t prevented him from interviewing plenty of Bills players on a regular basis.

For this three-part story, former Bills players Patrick DiMarco, Lee Smith, and Isaiah McKenzie went on record for their interviews. Besides those three, the remainder of people Dunne interviewed remain anonymous. All we’re told is that each and every person was a part of the team at one point in time during McDermott’s tenure.

It is not going to look very good firing the coach with the highest win percentage in team history and tied with Lou Saban for second place with 68 wins behind Marvelous Marv Levy.

It happened but it was 4 years ago in 2019 and McD already apologized for it.

I find it hard to believe he apologized “right away”. I personally don’t think he should be fired for it. It’s just a bad look. Considering his first 2 opponents were the jets and giants, at MetLife. You know his ass thought of that, thinking it was brilliant. Some people just lose their judgment for some reason. Especially since he said he knew someone that lost their life on 9/11. As the saying goes “Never Forget”. Sean obviously forgot.

OK I`ll bite, how does it effect the Bills season? He made those comments four years ago! "McDermott had cited the hijackers while stressing the importance of communication. Upon realizing how his message was being interpreted, McDermott said he called a second team meeting an hour later to apologize to his players." Here is the video of him addressing his comments. He owned up to it, what else you got. McD is still the coach and you are still............???????
