rally stripes.... where to buy?

Where is the best place to get stripes? I want to get flat black or satin black rally stripes installed. I'm picky and want them done right. How much will this cost? And do I want to go to the dealer? Or do I want to install them myself? I have done some vinyl letters with wetting the surface and squeegee etc. Never did these though and not sure about the bends in the cowl if it makes it hard to make them lay right. Help plz

Have them painted on by your favorite body shop.

Did mine myself for 150.00 plus shipping and 3 hrs time. Look just like OEM at a substancial savings. I got them from RJW motorsports and they have a good selection and pricing. Check them out. www.rjwmotorsports.com

I used RiderGraphix.com for my stripes. I'm very pleased with their product as well. Their selection is great and some of the stripes kits can have your personal text. I recommend them to anybody. GOODLUCK!!!

For Gods sake don't use RJW got strips for my truck they are not what they say they are. vinyl had lots of bad spots and to try to talk to them in email is awful they get real defensive and accuse you of damaging there product. Your best bet is to use OEM and get them from your local chevy dealer. At least they stand behind them. They cost a lot more but it is worth it. I have a set of dark grey hockey and the wide deck stripe. It sales for over 350 but if it is what you want there yours for 100 plus shipping. I got thme when I bought my 2010. They put them on crocked so they replaced them and I just kept them. I bought a set of orange from phoenix graphics the painted type and they were awesome but its the luck of the draw when you buy online. RJW just don't cut the rope when it comes to customer service. That is why I say go to the dealer you can get someone by the neck if it ain't right

If you can afford, go to the dealership and ask them to order GM original stripes. There is no other material out there like GM factory stripes and also have them installed them. I have done all the vinyl in my car. the list is long and i feel very confident with vinyl installation but still I was not able to intall the hood stripes. I ruined one whole pair.. Honestly there are not as easy as they look. The problem is the hood cowl.. its a PITA..
