Now I could be wrong, it's happened once or twice before, but the Vette is Chevy's Pride and Glory. Haven't they typically put all the "good stuff" in the Vettes first?
But on top of all that....Chevy?...a V12? Just seems unlikely
This pic wasn't from GM. The guy did it as a joke. Pretty much saying anyone could slap a piece of paper on the dash saying whatever they wanted and people would believe it.

haha! I hope this is really true. BUT... I'm just saying how stupid do we look to be this excited over a piece of paper lmao!
If it was just some random pic, it would be one thing. But shots from a well known automotive spyshot photographer, who was speaking with GM engineers, who had other Camaros plus a GT500 ... quite a bit more credibility.

I guess it depends on how many will be produced. If the Z28 will be a limited production run, then they can probably charge whatever they want as there will be enough true brand enthusiasts that will gladly scoop them up.

On the other hand, if the Z28 is not a limited production vehicle, then charging $20K+ premium would be foolish. Whenever cars are priced, you have to consider the cars that are similarly priced. At $60K plus, there is no way in Hell that the Z28 will be competitive against other cars in that price range (excluding Diehard Enthusiasts), especially not with that crappy interior.

Well have to see what the final price and production levels are before we can render a verdict.

You can get a CTS-V for $64k. The Z28 will be far less than that car.

WOW Is all I really have to say about this! Finally getting to see glimpses of a new Z/28 is pretty amazing. I would love to be able to afford a new 2012 automatic Z/28 but I still have to finish paying off my current 2010 Camaro RS & if its in the $45,000 and $50,000 club im not sure I can afford one anyway. Still is kool but not sure if I would purchase one when I could wait and get me a new 2015 6th Gen SS. Either way the new Z/28 will be sweet as will the new revised Camaro on the alpha platform around 2014 &2015.

Sticker:37,650
Paid: 35,752 after taxes and such
Never said the avg SS sells for $43K, just said considering the avg sell price.

Around my area I still see SS's selling anywhere between $36 and 39K. Unless it's used of course. Still have a few holdout dealers selling at a firm sticker price. Needless to say may particular area is still sparse on deliveries and the ones that do get to the lots are usually not there very long.
