2015 v6 exhaust quick question
I drive a 2015 v6 2LT w rs package. I have a 2015 ZL1 stock exhaust in my garage. Would it be hard to install into my v6? Any advice would help. Thanks!

Fits fine. Just needs the ZL1 or SS / 1LE / V6 NPP rear diffuser to accommodate the quad tips.

I put one on my 2011 V6 convertible. Bought the rear diffuser panel. This exhaust has 2 vacuum controlled valves that operate the cutouts, necessary to provide vacuum pump, vacuum lines, on off switch and wiring. Worked out well.

How much louder is it? Sound good? I'm thinking about buying a used set of ZL1 mufflers and putting them on.

With the mufflers on but no vacuum to the mufflers they're basically like a muffler delete. And any muffler delete V6 needs the Magnaflow 11386 X to sound good. Lol

Thanks but how does it sound closed? I don't want a crappy ricer sound. Just a bit louder than I have stock. The muddlers come with the vacuum switch-lines etc.

It, well... it's probably 25% to 30% quieter but otherwise sounds the same. It's like a louder stock sound, which is weird to say. If you have stock cats and resonators and all that (or the Magnaflow 11386 res x) it'll sound great. You just can't keep the stock H pipe IMO. It keeps the tone raspier.
