2013 LFX w/ MRT V2 - Highway Drone
I recently had the MRT V2 exhaust system installed on my 2013 LXF 2LT Camaro. I absolutely LOVE-LOVE-LOVE the sound at start up & when you step on the pedal! However, the highway drone is almost unbearable. I drive 100 miles each day on the highway during my normal commute and the drone at 1800-2000 RPM really wears on you after 15 minutes…
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to eliminate this drone, or is it just a condition that's prevalent on any non-stock exhaust system?

Yeah. They sell the "J" pipes separately. I added an X-pipe when I added the MRT v1. It took out the drone a lot but not completely.
Try an x-pipe. Get the air flowing.

Well I'm glad it didn't pick up. *closes video* haha.
If I got a major headache with just the v1 alone, yeah, I DO have an idea and I'd rather not try to get into a car droning louder that what I had. I'm good! = )

J pipe will help get rid of the drone.

Maybe swap for a Borla system. Nothing I've ever heard on a V6 Camaro sounds anywhere near as good.

I would try getting the magnaflow resonated x-pipe. I'm getting an MRT V2 soon. I currently have an xpipe with the factory axlebacks.

So what would help with the drone more. The x pipe or J pipes ?

J pipe directly helps with the drone, X pipe indirectly helps with the drone (as it make the exhaust sound lower/quiter, and so with the drone too).
