I think what we will do is this fall when it cools down some we will just set a date for a weekend and place and have a drivein for all that can make it. From there we can talk and discuss what all we would like to do as a club.

I think it would be cool to hook up maybe 2-4 times a year with a drive in that could vary from towns in a rotation and news letters, come up with our own name, logo and shirts.

I think it could be fun, what do you guys think?

I know for sure:
Scott in Eufaula (who started this thread);at least one in Montgomery; one in Wetumpka; two in Auburn/Opelika, with a third due in Tuesday (6/2) and a fourth (mine, shipped 5/28) somewhere between QC hell and here. I'm sure there are others. So keep the faith .. it's coming

Edit: presently there are 118 Alabama cars showing up in the Camaro database. Doesn't mean much though since not all have been received and some (like mine) don't show up at all

Scott, you know I'm in. I don't have a lot of time to organize a whole lot right now but a Camaro5 Alabama club would be cool.

I'm the Montgomery Alabama chapter director for Southeast CamaroZ. Come check us out, I was supposed to have a meet tonight by my car was in the shop so I had to cancel. We'll probably reschedule in a week or two.

Got the car last night!!! WOW worth the wait! IOM with white strips and IOM interior! Worried a bit that interior might be too much...but it is great!
Keep me posted on Alabama meets.

There is a cruise on the square in downtown Athens on Sat 6/6...I will be there with my car!

Awesome!! I'm from Athens also. I will definately come out to see it, we're a member of the Corvette group here & usually make these cruises anyway!

My Camaro is waiting to be shipped! Can't wait!

Hi, I'm Jeff and I am the Chapter Director for the Huntsville, AL chapter of Southeast Camaroz. Southeast Camaroz is a GA based Camaro Car Club that is rapidly growing and extending its membership by forming new chapters in the surrounding states. We are now opening a chapter in Huntsville AL and in Montgomery AL. I am trying to get the word out to those who would like to be a part of a LOCAL CAMARO CLUB, that one is now available to them. We are just getting started here in Huntsville but are always looking for good folks who love their Camaro to meet up with us and be a part of our club. It is open to ALL generations and models of the Chevrolet Camaro! The Montgomery Chapter was the first to welcome on a couple of the New 2010 Camaros! So whether you have a classic 1st or 2nd gen, love your 3rd gen, drive the wheels off your 4th gen, or are one of the lucky owners of the 5th gen, I invite you to come and visit our website, and join up with us and be a part of the fastest growing Camaro Car Club in the Southeast, where you're not just a member, you are also a friend.

Thanks!!

Jeff
