Unhappy I wasn't worried about my dealer until today

So, I've had no problems with my dealership up until today. My car was supposed to be produced a few weeks ago, but I hadn't gotten any updates in about a month. I stopped into the dealership today to find out that my salesman is no longer employed by my dealership. I had a deal for invoice pricing that was in writing with my salesman, but now I have a feeling I've lost that deal....

Same thing happened to me. All I can do is prey that we get our cars at the agreed upon price. Good luck

What makes it worse is that when I asked to get my status on the car, they couldn't seem to find my file. They said it must be with the general manager, and they would call me on Monday. If I don't hear from them I'm going to really start the worry.

Stay after them. Keep the original documentation in your sight at all times and NEVER let it out of your sight no matter who says what to you. Try to bring a friend or someone as a witness to what is said.
Stand your ground but do not get pissy or beligerent with them.
Good luck, and keep us posted.
(BTW - don't get hung up on the posters that will tell you to sue, get a lawyer, go crazy, threaten the dealership, etc. Be adult professional and to the point. )

What dealership? Didn't order in Norman since I was too late to get an allocation.

Your salesman was still a legal representative of the dealer, and thus the deal is still valid. Think of it this way, if your salesman was driving a dealer car and hit your car (during work hours) which insurance would pay for it? Dealers insurance or the salesman's. Definitely dealers. I worked at a dealer for a little bit, and was not even allowed to drive the cars until I was on their insurance policy. They were responsible for everything I did basically.

Mine was signed by the finance manager, so i think im good. My salesman also left.

I ordered at City Chevrolet in Oklahoma City. I was going to order from Mark Heitz, but they wanted $5k over MSRP.
