If you believe that I have violated the rules of this forum, feel free to report me, as is spelled out in the forum rules found here:

https://www.camaro5.com/forums/announcement.php?f=2

Specifically, see paragraph #5:

5) No “Thread-Crapping”/Vendor Feedback — do not ruin another member’s sale thread (or any other) for any reason. Feel free to report an objectionable post, or just don’t post in the thread! Like Mom used to say, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all!” Just move on. This applies to members’ and vendors’ threads alike.

What you have done is actually in violation of this particular rule, so if you report me based on your interpretation of another rule, be prepared for likewise treatment.

In addition to that remedy, you may find it helpful to seek sanctuary in a safe space at a local college or university where you will find comfort from others who are other perpetually offended.

Wow,
somebody is being a bit "sensitive" and maybe needs a hug. So here's one. BTW, I was trying to give you advice so you wouldn't continue these types of remarks, especially in light of the fact that there are many females on the forum who are members and contributors who would take offense to your comment. Vendors too! This is the era of the "me too" movement.
FYI - Your solution to the problem was spot on and to be complimented. Good work tracking down and finding a solution to the Stabilitrack and code issue.
I will take your advice and report you for your sexist comment. And FYI, now You just violated rule #5 !
Peace out.......

Perfect!
It reminds me my 78 when I installed the heads, intake manifold, distributor and carb all day.
It was all done, just put the air filter and close the hood.

Then I found out that I caught one wire with a connector under the intake manifold

It's not the screw up that counts, it's the recovery!!!

God Forbid you should say some openly politically incorrect comment so some other whiner can run to mommy and hide behind her skirt..many females on this forum....not so much its a friggin late night parents basement friggin sausage fest and only has gotten worse over the years, believe me I have been here before those who would say otherwise.

Slapping someone with a violation of a really non existent come in once a week maybe moderator to remove posts to only make the general area less popular ...kind of crap really ticks me off. Theres reasons some got removed over time or violated, some long ago were very foul and very bad in manners and crapped all over anyone, and there were so many on here with thousands at a time.... it made sense to remove trouble makers even if they were in actuality victims sometimes....

Slowly over along period of time the site becomes less populated especially by those willing to take the step to step up and their knowledge to help others until you have the bone yard that is the wreck of this site.....

SO while one guy sniping about being politically more correct to mention large breasted women ...god forbid as if its so horribly wrong; Maybe he needs to drink out of his radiator...you know through the little valve you can turn underneath called...….called the what??????

Answer that to make a violation!; of the friggin prime directive to go to other planets boldly exploring with out messing with their culture and their god forbid political correctness which came frim divine sources ….: they saw it in ancient WW2 applied by Nazi Germany on its own Populace to force conformity just as a socialist would as they are very much like Facists; forcing their divisiveness apon the populace like jack booted thugs as need be.

Really the OP of a thread being pissed on by political correctness is not what I think this thread should come to but one rather about the problem and its repair which the OP was so kind to take pics of and carefully document his mess up....should rubbing his nose in what you would think of as a "sexist comment"; be your response maybe you should go run off to a Corvette forum to whine to those there.

For me who has over the years helped many others I congratulate him for manning up and showing his own humiliating mistake and therefore others may learn from his hard knocks.

That's what real nice people do help each other not hate on each other, remember that people, from the grumpy, bald, old Carpenter, penitentiary working infantry vet sitting at home after double hernia surgery, ( Had to build a rock boulder wall this year for work), who someday hopes socialism never comes to America so we don't have to kill them all. We can just watch them leave their failing states to dilute ours like we are now.

I am most known for plain speak, being a former Infantry man I am most known to say "Murr" looked up in the urban dictionary it has been noted to take the place of just about any other words.....

I just plain get the job done as failure is not a option, and for many if they come here looking for help they are a reaching out to not fail, not just for braggery or to massage their ego, but to be in a place rather that's more filled with knowledge, knowledge that over the years on here is very vacant especially in just the general forum a general forum that has over the years had first posts of ...Blew up my engine now what, crapped the bed now what, screwed the pooch now what.....

SO this post if properly titled some day can be accessed if kept online in perpetuity to help someone some day who may have mistakenly pinched their wire harness in between their head and block and had similar results hopefully to fix theirs.

SO you just go ahead and report someone, its a snotty rotten red headed child of a thing to do and don't respect instant results or respect because you whined, instead expect to in the future if remembered to be treated the same under a microscope for your behavior to have others hate on you...……..that is what in reality brings down this and other sites, not just the lack of popularity or the age of the vehicle but snotty crap that should be over looked but has to be brought out like as if it were some rotten
"English class" and your the teachers pet for finding fault in a sentence.

Grow a thick skin or expect a world where your constantly victimized...just as in how people would manipulate you to side with them because they are victims and they cant be wrong being victimized no matter how much they blow things out of proportion or incite hate and violence...….

There is a real large club near hear full of what I came to know as neo Nazi Facists when I served in Germany in the cold war; that call themselves ANTIFA and some day someone around here will have to take care of them and it will be violent if the stupidity in PDX and its mayor so continues to harbor radicalism.

And so be it, they walk like a duck, quack like a duck, hate anything to do with real values and have nothing but hate for those that serve...they do not therefore deserve the same protections under the law for they do not serve... You see where I am going, theres enough Hate in the world and by god there is one particular party in charge of that now and they are busy 24/7 trying to tear down the will of the people to just enhance their own grip of power and they are coming for our money...……

They foster hate and ignore any wrong in the attempt to garner power by their own side and are guilty of everything they accuse the other side of as a pretext for their own deliberate preposterous behavior and attempt to throw mud.....

Now you can summarize that as referring to one party; or you can if warped enough by mainstream media warp it to be the other party it all depends on which source you take your news from. Two years form now the next election I hope there is a wave to oppose the one that just supposedly happened that is after these two years of open advanced hatred we have to overcome with those that are most prejudiced actually claiming righteousness and most opposed to the will of the people saying they speak for us.

There are many out there so stupid so corrupted by a pork fed union picket welding infested liberal teacher dogma that socialism is good and then they open their mouths and nothing after that can be good ever...…… but hey in a socialism the teachers could run the world...after all even in supposed public universities their money is basically all government money...…(helping to push them to one political extreme mainly and it has to change), and they being the smart ones would run the government and distribute the money or be elected because they may think that their loud mouth is power as it has been tolerated on their campus....

Out here in the real world, I work til I die, keep your government jack booted thug off my neck I appreciate my own pay so keep your damn hand out of my pocket and Make America Great Again...….

Hows that hopey- changey thing working out for you?
...what the main voting is more related to worry over health care one party supposedly fixed with their super majority....the same party they want to fix it now that won't but they get in anyway...…

Get ready for two years of Hate not that we have not seen what it Does; wait until it gets really ugly because there's some real damn ugly skeletons in the closet waiting to be investigated.... And its about time for the crap to hit the fan,

Or you may back Elijah Cummings for most belligerent, and a close second the dishonorable Adam Schiff, and coming round the far Stretch its Maxine Waters...and she wins by a neck...…….. oops the crowd was busy looking at what the other hand was doing not seeing the magic behind the scenes....

Two more years for Obamacare to implode more damaging things more with little makeshift help, two years for scheming to take back part of my pay, two years for the fed to jack up interest rates to screw a recovering economy, and life goes on...….my ramble for this morning; be kind ; unwind, if you cant blow off some steam when your supposedly with friends WTF find new friends...…..

And as for me I may someday get pushed off here and so what.... that's what other dead sites are for... those who did eventually get pushed out for frankness or were hated on until the left or more likely were picked on until they could not take it anymore..... MY weakness; momma boys who don't have the car yet but want to post threads about how to spend mommies money before they get the car they supposedly earned, braggfarts who lie about their stuff and fade away....., or damn rude and hateful butt heads who act as if they are morally superior until called on their own crap.

We all fall short, some need to remember that before they type too much......that's just IMO one old bald fart in pain....damn a double hernia, what next thing god has in store for me? Someday though I will be out of my bankruptcy from my daughters Biology neuroscience degree and able to spend again...three years to go waiting watching prices on new zl1s drop with their being used ….damn torture doing minor mods....ROFL.... and three years from now what will the world look like? will there be peace with Korea? will Will Smith ever make another good movie? or will we have to watch his stupid blond haired progeny ...and listen to president Oprah? Hey maybe she can give me a rich guys car......And maybe Madonna can be secretary of state.... One that kills people like me who are not English correct in their typing...OMG...……

And yes I have seen this exact same problem reported on here before from someone smashing their wiring harness in between the head and block..BTW…..may have been years......

In no particular order chris.... your rather long winded post (that few if any have taken the time and effort to wade thru) has been edited so a concise and to the point response can be made -
Have a nice day!

This post should be about cars and a morning ramble to show Hey I am out there like other Camaro owners legitimately just trying to keep it between the lines...…….

On more important notes; Trying out the starter I am buying from powermaster. Have yet to decide between the mini starter type hi torque and one a little more torque and HP...to help with starter heat stroke.....Models are the Powermaster xs torque 9509 at $218 or the Powermaster 9409 Ultra torque starter which is a little larger and its $395 but a little more torque and power..... and see how that goes, frankly I have benn cruising the net; noticed the American car craft site has 20% off for month...…...God help me, I have been wanting the cheaper perforated non illuminated coil/valve covers for a SS I think I can work them with any aftermarket intake manifold and have them a nice complement rather than as I have lessor coil covers; and they still let you not relocate the coils...….

SO everyone I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving, that's what's really important family, and our cars are part of ours...….. And thinking of our children hard not to do, be kind and give to everyone; but don't neglect yourselves..... Christmas comes but once a year.... some dang good football on...

I'm interested to see which starter you will go with, Christian. Mine (factory) seems kinda weak so I might be needing one soon.
