Rotors were a black friday find. Although I'm pissed they're not true 2-piece with replaceable rings but $1150+ for RB 2-piece is too much scratch.
$845 for calipers/pads/lines/hardware, $600 for rotors. Dual casts would save a few hundred but these should handle the heat better.

Me likey. Is it racin season yet?

Waiting on powdercoat/decals next month to mount it all. Pads and lines showed up this week.

Yeah well military says embrace the suck so its DC for 2 more years. Hoping for the sandbox in a couple months so I can get some forgeline money.

Has your 20x10.5 setup been working out ok now that you've had it for a while? I would like 305 Goodyear G2's all around if I can. I know you prefer the 19" RE-11 setup but I need the ground clearance since this will be a dual use setup. Finances aren't going to allow for 2 setups so I need a bit of a compromise. I don't want to step down to a 285/305 non-square setup if I don't have to.

the GY 305/35/20s are hard in the inner fender liner. We started with the self clearancing program, but should have used the zip tie back the inner fender program. A 305/20/20 would not rub. Bridgestone RE70 would be awesome with a 140 Tread Wear There is a Pirellie P Zero Max Porsche Spec tire in that size as well.

I really like the 19s, but you are right about the ground clearance. They drop the car an inch from stock at the wheel.

Does it rub at the center of the wheel on the liner? I can always cut a chunk out and put a light coat of undercoat in there. Or if its at full lock I doubt its an issue because its not a daily driver. Do you mean the 305/30? I don't see a 20.

What I don't want to do is be limited to a single tire brand/size that they discontinue the week after I drop 5k on wheels. Somehow thats my luck. Although I know I can always drop down to a 285 for more options but then I'd rather hold out for a 19" option to stay 305 square.

The increase in perceived gear ratio will be a bigger benefit. Forgelines are a very light wheel to begin with so it won't be as huge of a difference. I just can't go too short because this is a car I drive to the track and on weekends, no trailer queen status for me.

It rubs at the edges when the wheels are turned close to wheel lock. Currently in the 305/20 you have Bridgestone and Pirelli. In a 295/30/20 you have Continental, Pirelli and Michelin. The Michelin selection looks good with the new Super Sport.

Cool, if its near lock I don't care. If I'm at full lock on the track I've got bigger issues going on. A tire wall would have gotten in the way of the short-cut I'm trying out.

Would switching to ctsv rears make any difference? From what I read of the op was the rears are equivelant to the as rears?
