can somebody give a step by step on how to make the chevy bowtie black with the vinyl.. please?

Did this myself... wasn't hard. Just cut the vinyl a tad larger than the emblem, carefully applied it to make sure there were no bubbles, then used a sharp razor following the grove between the crome and gold parts. Good Luck!

On other thing regarding smoothing out air bubbles. Prick the air bubble with a pin and flatten the bubble, much easier than trying to work the bubble out to the edges of the vinyl.

Just go to any automotive supply store and ask them for vinyl repair tape providing it`s wide enough, or and I know this will sound stupid, contact vinyl shelving paper.

thanks every one.. does any one know the height of the chevy emblem cause i want to know what size tape to get... my car should be here any day .. so if some one can please measure for me

Just like what BEAUSBRIGGS quoted in his post , " wasn't hard. Just cut the vinyl a tad larger than the emblem, carefully applied it to make sure there were no bubbles, then used a sharp razor following the grove between the chrome and gold parts.

I took mine to a Vinyl Shop and thats how they did it ...
