What?!

Even despite the media scrutiny he gets, I think he brought a lot to GM over the years.

Again?

Sorry to see him go, but the man deserves it...working til what is he, 79??
A bloody genius -- and we owe him a great deal.

GM is in good hands thanks (in part) to him.

I noticed it on the Detroit Free Press and Detroit News Websites this morning also.

Love him or hate him, he sure put the pedal to the metal for quality consumer driven products!

Thanks Mr. Lutz!!!

Interesting Nesbitt, Lutz's handpicked guy for Caddy gets re-assigned and now Lutz is retiring in May. Maybe a coincidence or GM allowing Lutz to step aside gracefully. Either way its a bad idea.

Thank you Bob Lutz! I am loving every minute of my Camaro!

Duplicate post, but a new day for sure within GM. He carried a lot of pull and energized the company around product.

Lutz had a huge influence on GM product. It will be sad to see him go, but he was retired before he went to GM in the first place. His quotes will be missed.
