Whoever at Chevrolet is driving the ZL1 project should get a raise. The black SSX wheels are a perfect compliment. As they did with the '97 SS Z28's, I'd like to see Chevrolet allow us to purchase the SSX wheels with a set of race tires as an option where we end up with two sets of wheels and tires. Oh baby I can't wait to play with the ZL1!!

Are you selling any of your camaros to buy a ZL1 or just adding to the collection?

Nice to see the wheels were well received at Camaro5 Fest II. It's always nice to show NEW stuff to the Hard Core Camaro fans.

Great job with the wheels guys! I'm so happy that they are going to be available with the ZL1!

...another great thing about this site, actual GM guys on here posting in the forums. Add in the aftermarket vendors and you have a slice of heaven just a click away.

The SSX wheels are bad ass and all but I feel the ZL1 wheels fit the car better. Now powdercoat the ZL1 wheels black and that would be absolutely awesome!

Atom, I would like to take a minute to say "Thank You" to you and the GM Design staff for the ZL1 & SSX wheel designs. Both designs are enticing and very striking. I am leaning more towards the 5 spoke ZL1 polished design but will wait to see if the SSX wheel will be offered as a polished piece and what the cost will be. The two designs make the ZL1 look so totally different. I am very happy to see that the design staff really took their time and created a unique design that suits the car very well. Plus making a larger wheel but lighter than a stock SS wheel is just fantastic. Thank you on a job well done.

X2 on that. There got to be at least 5 lbs difference per wheel with all the material that has been taken out. Just guessing...

Aren't the ZO6 SSX wheels avaliable for the Corvette now? How much are they and what colors are available? I suspect this may be similar to what is offered for the Camaro in the future.
