The production car did grow on me a lot, but this really does look worlds better.

I think they dropped the ball on which version should have been the production car, and which one the "concept"...lol...I think they will probably just end up planting more seeds of doubt into the minds of potential buyers, with this concept right on the heels of '19 production....It's almost like even Chevy doesn't think the production fascia looks good...should be changed...lol...
Here's the bumblebee concept or whatever it was from a few years ago that was never really praised at all in the looks department, and ends up as the template for the production car....Now a SEMA concept that looks like what the production car should have been....I think PR wise it's a disaster for the '19 production car's potential popularity....They did it backwards. |

Something as simple as painting the black, and moving the bowtie to the correct location and it looks so much better. Still ugly, but much better.

It does make massive difference. It just flows better. Now personally still not sold on the look but it is such a huge improvement over the production car. It looks coherent. The production car IMO looks like its trying to hard to have an aggressive face.

Still not a fan of the front end design but thats a huge improvement. The body color grill with that bowtie placement should be standard.

Here's what a "real" Shock SS will look like....minus the hood graphics as well...the graphics ,the painted fascia, and relocated bow-tie, are only on the Sema concept car and not available for purchase as an accessory or option...
"The Camaro SS Shock show vehicle also features concept front-end styling that includes a relocated bowtie emblem and concept hood/fender graphics." |

...for now. I wouldn't be surprised if GM ends up offering the SEMA fascia as an LPO.
