Check this out my friend. The Z/28 has different no-lift shift parameters for the road coarse specifically. Short story: ECU is programmed to cut fuel and spark while you hold WOT, to achieve optimal shift RPM, thrusting you forward during a hard race shift.

Thanks for the link. Great reading, but, it does not say anything about the LS7 and the Z/28. The LS7 is not even included in Al's matrix. Does anyone know what the "enable RPM" and "no-lift shift rpm" is for the LS7 and the Z/28 ? I did not get that information from the link. Thanks.

OP: I see what you were saying in the first post now. It makes more sense. Do you run with track alignment on both your vehicles?

Don't quote me on this as I can't do a deep search to give you a link, but I remember the Enable RPM on the Z/28 being 4400 RPM. I have done a lot of straight line no lift shifting in the Z/28. I have messed with it around corners on some caution laps very slowly. No-Lift Shift has been around for a long time.

I want to try it on my Z/28. I did not know this existed on our cars. So, "no lift" shift works on PTM5 only or will it work on other PTM settings ?

Funny thing is that I was looking at a new GT350R at MSRP yesterday, but passed on the deal because of the fact that the market is now over saturated with them. It took them longer to do it, but when the GT500 comes out I think the bottom will drop out of the GT350R. I had one dealer begging me to take a base GT350 at invoice. When I told him I was only looking for the "R" version he texted me about the hardship his mom and pop dealership was having. At that point I decided there was no way I was going to get the "R".

He can sell it below invoice to you (and still make plenty of profit), if he's in a real hardship. Buy what you want, not what some dealer needs you to buy. Scam artists

You want to buy a GT350 for a good cause? None better than this cause:

Here are some other reasons why I have decided not to buy a GT350. Notice that these are the top threads under normal post on a GT350 forum!
