Ok, so i have to splice a few wires but i save $110. Fine with me.

Couple questions I assume the fp is set to a static 58psi, and then raises sligtly when the hobbs switch sees boost?

Does this hat have two outlets?

You will want the DSX Flex sensor because pump E85 is inconsistent.

It can have anywhere from like 51% to 85% Ethanol according to the sticker on the pumps I use.

The most Ethanol I've ever seen in a log file was 79%. I've never seen higher at any E85 pump in TN.

No way a tune can compensate for that much of a variable.

You set your base pressure on the FPR during idle. The regulator is boost eferenced and power to the secondary pump(s) are powered via the hobbs switch.

The hat has one outlet and one inlet.

Sell your fuel pump and fpcm then buy the agp fuel system. I've installed 3 of them it's the best bang for your buck with room to grow in the future as well.

Thats the plan. Selling the bap too. I have a bigger blower coming in a week or so, and i kinda want to see how it does on 93 first. Then im gonna tear the old fuel system out and do the agp on e.

Too many guys pop these motors trying to make power on pump gas. I’d go right to e85 off the bat with the bigger blower. There is a small margin of error with the stock motor on pump gas one tiny bit of detonation you will be buying a motor

I'm not allowed to say yet.

Its not a YSI/YSI-B. Its lighter, more efficient, it's self lubricated, drops right into my bracket and flows upwards of 2000cfm.

My buddy has a 2015 ss with a Procharger P1sc, stage 2 cooler, E85 ID1300x, zl1 pump and bap with a cam and full exhaust. 10psi. He made 651 on the same dyno as me. His IAT's with e85 are 137degrees.

The hottest Ive ever seen was in july on some back to back runs, was 120, but usually around 100 degrees on most runs. this is on just 93.

I dont disagree with you, e85 is better. But all my logs show my demanded fp and actual fp are the same, and inj dc is only 56% at max. if my iats are cool, and theres no KR, then...

Engines do typically run cooler on E85, but E85 does not "reduce" IAT's. This would be a function of the intercooler or meth if you have it, but could be several other variable as to why you buddies car runs hotter.

The concern with running pump gas and high boost is engine knock. As you may already know, E85 has a functional equivalent octane level to 109 fuel. This is protecting your engine from detonation.

Thanks, I guess I was confusing iats with cylinder temps. I get where you're coming from. I guess I made a bad comparison there.

If this new mystery blower is as efficient as they say, I wont need to spin it that fast to crack 800whp. Hopefully its not a dog on low boost.

No worries bro! That's what this place is for. I have learned a ton about e85 vs 93 and boost over the years. It took a ton and ton of research, but the end results is what makes it fun. If you can learn from some mistakes I've made or someone else then that puts you ahead of the game.

You've got me intrigued about this "mystery blower" though. Apple to oranges comparison(cause TT), but when I switched from 93 + meth to e85 +meth I was able to decrease boost from 16.7 psi @ 815 rwhp to 14 psi @ 906 rwhp. The most impressive part was the ambient temps were 50F when I made 815 vs 95F when I made 906. Curious to see what she does now with cooler weather.

For me, IVT (intake valve temperatures) run about 315*F on E10 (pump 91) gas whereas IVT is about 270*F on E66 (pump E85). IAT's don't change. The extra 6* of timing at WOT makes E85 wonderful (more power)!

Why even risk it? I cringe when i go WOT on 93 on SBE even with boost turned down to wastegate pressure even knowing my tune is spot on. Now get me a tank of e85 and im turning the boost controller up to 14 psi and sending it with NO REGERTS.
