iOS5

If you haven't upgraded your iPhone to iOS5, I would recommend that you do so. Bluetooth syncing with the Camaro is so much better. In the past, I had to turn bluetooth off and then on whenever I got into the car. Now, I can leave it on, and it automatically connects with the car whenever the radio is on.

I'm not impressed with the new iOS 5 honestly.

I never had problems with my iPhone bluetooth since the first time I got it. I connected it once and never had to do it again. it connects its self everytime I go in the car.

Maybe it wus just your settings.

Yeah, it was never clear why I was having bluetooth problems, but the good thing is that they were fixed with iOS5. I do have a different opinion from you on iOS5 though. I like the following features:

-notifications
-iMessage
-Find my friends (good for keeping track of the kids)
-iCloud
-WiFi Sync

Upgraded to IOS 5 a few days ago. The OS has many upgrades and convenient features, still learning about them.

The overall quality of sound is better with bluetooth streaming.

IOS 5 is also supposed to send song information over BT to the radio, but it looks like our Camaro's do not support that feature (probably older A2DP version installed).

iOS5 fixed bluetooth working with mine. The Car and the Phone used to make a mess of calls. It has been flawless so far. Also - the Music via USB works correctly. Before - I had many chances of it not showing playlists. Also -- It seems to keep the song I was on after leaving & returning.

Much better than before...

I'm completely happy with the new iOS5, notifications is a big thing as well as just a overhaul of apps and processes within the OS itself. I never had issues with Bluetooth like OP mentioned with turning off and on to get it to connect with previous iOS, my iPhone always has Bluetooth on and when I get in my car it picks it up right away and I can drive on

Well my GMconnect is not working. Never has was hoping the update might work. Cannot listen to music over bluetooth at all.

My iPhone 3GS used to connect flawlessly to my 2010. Since I upgraded to iOS 5, bluetooth needs to be reconnected every time I get into the car with a new code from the car. Any ideas why or how to mitigate the issue? Thanks for the help. The Apple support forums were useless.

I'm running a jailbroken iPhone4 on 4.3 and I've never had a problem with my bluetooth syncing up.
