FOLLOW THE STORY WITH THE PICS AS YOU SCROLL:

So.....due to something out of my control....I had to remove my OEM vinyl wrap. I love the look of the OEM matte black vinyl on white:

But it needed more, so......I added THESE within weeks of delivery:

That brings us to the issue that required the vinyl removal.....SO removal of said badges and OEM vinyl:

...to get a fresh canvas:

After a couple days of thought I came up with an idea and ran with it....here is the process and final result:
Used my template:

Sketched in a location and size to keep proportions of the "1LE":

Taped in place for installer and laid down the "1LE":

Came out like this: (keep scrolling though...theres MORE)

That wasn't enough....THIS was my final vision: Satin vinyl OVER the "1LE" lettering to leave just a subtle hint on the hood:

Then completed trimming for a final look:

More pics added per PM requests:
Another look at the Satin vinly over the lettering:

Close up of lettering height:

Difference between matte and satin vinyls: (removed OEM balled up LOL) - you can see the satin has a mild gloss to it:

cant really say on the OEM wrap other than it needed replaced...cost $518 OTD but I only paid $218. That included ordering 3 full yards of 3M vinyl and install, taxes..the lettering etc

As I was reading the story of the wrap, I saw the 1LE on the hood and thought, "please don't leave it like that!". And then I scrolled a little more to see the wrap over the graphic. Well done, sir! It looks fantastic. I love how simple and clean it looks but badass at the same time. Keep it up!

Thanks buddy! Appreciate the comment! You might like to know I bought four more
1LE Goodyear Supercar G2s from another member tonight(Blue_11RS). I run aftermarket 315s on the rear ... So I have:
the stock OEM fronts still on, my original OEM rears for spare fronts, and now TWO MORE sets of spare fronts!

Not to sound like I'm bragging...but I have too much power for 285s for the rears. Its almost too easy to spin off the 315's I have on the rear now.

I specifically purchased these 285s to replace only the fronts as they wear out, and I'll keep buying 315s for the rear
