Anyone Sync their iphone4 with the Camaro? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Has anyone done this yet and if so would you tell me the steps to do it?

It shouldn't be too hard... Just open up the GM bluetooth, it will give you a password, and use your iphone to find the device. Enter the password, and bingo, it should work. That's how bluetooth works for everything, not just the iphone4.

not yet got my phone but getting stripes painted on should get it back today and Ill let you know

Besides the fact that the steps are written in the GM Manual....

1) On the iPhone, press the "Setting" icon. Then select "Bluetooth".
2) Press the phone/voice-command button on your steering wheel.
3) Say "Bluetooth", wait for response "Bluetooth Ready"
4) Say "Pairing"
...From here, follow the direction the car tells you...

whenever i plug my iphone4 into my camaro and try to play my music it will go static and i have to unplug it and i cant play music

I cannot pair my iPhone 4 to my camaro. 3GS worked fine. I have tried everthing to pair it but it wont find the phone. Iphone doesn't say General Motors like it used to only says handsfree and won't link.

I have been able to steam music via bluetooth and use the USB connection without any problems so far with iPhone 4

I used it for 2 weeks with absolutely no issues and then all of a sudden one night I was listening and it was like

Mine is doing the exact same thing.
Huge load of crap, that in all of these threads there is not an answer for this.

I have not had any prob syncing the phone, but I can not for the life of me get the music to sync. I have iPhone 4 with 4.0.1 and the latest PDIM update. Not sure of the letters, but had it done wednesday.

I'll admit that the iPhone not working smoothly anymore is annoying at best, but what kind of answer can anyone honestly expect from these forums. Unless GM's USB/PDIM team or Apple come up with a patch, there isn't anything that anyone will be able to do?

When I started the first thread regarding these issues, I had a rep from GM's USB design team contact me, I havn't really heard much else since then, but they said they were looking into it. In my opinion, it's Apple's responsibility to fix this problem with a patch.

I believe it's apple as well,I have to reboot my phone alot,even when connecting it to my alpine.Although the only time I have an issue with the alpine is when I play music from youtube ,or pandora,and then try to play music from the phone.I have to reboot the phone for it to be able to play music that I loaded on the phone.
