Disable Transmission TM with HP Tuners

Hey guys

I am new to the whole tuning thing so I thought I should consult the forum before I do anything detrimental to my car.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to fully or partially disable Torque management for the transmission to get faster shifts. I wasn't sure if I had to disable torque reduction next to Upshifts. This is on HP tuners BTW.

Thx.

Disabling TM will not make shifts faster, it can actually make it slower if the pressures aren't high enough to compensate for the extra engine torque. Shift Time Torque Adder tables are the "ideal" shift times to which the TCM will attempt to shift that fast.

If you want the car to accelerate better after a shift though, go under Torque Management, set the "Speed Ctrl Terminate" to Immediate. That will immediately return your ignition timing to normal instead of slowly adding it back.
