Talking Finally! I Am Now a Member of the Drop Top Community!

Yep I finally just went ahead and got me a 'vert, always wanted one all my life, and in spite of what others warned me about owning a 'vert I finally said enough is enough, and now am going to experience owning one I want, whats really cool is the fact that it is a Camaro.
2013 Summit White,2Lt, RS Convertible, dual mode exhaust, and every bell and whistle imaginable included!

Ya I still love the looks of the hard tops, and I really dont like the 'verts with the tops up, but that wont be a problem for me, I'm gonna have the top down most of the time anyways, and I think nothing looks better than a convertible Camaro with the top down.....it oooozes class

I have been eyeballing this particular car for the last two months and am actually surprised it sat on the lot so long, I didn't have to buy a convertible right now and that was pretty much my leverage in the financing department, finally they dealership dealed with me and actually we both came out winning.
they paid off my trade in, which had a lot of mileage, I got 0% financing, and my payment was a little more than what I was used to, but coming from a base model hardtop to a fully loaded convertible, I feel it is worth a little more a month for it.

I decided to not go with the SS, because I feel I really dont need it, I could afford it and it was an option but I just dont see forking out a bunch more money for two more cylinders, highewr priced gas that those things seem to guzzle, and tickets. Ya I know I can get tickets in a V6.........but I havent, lol
I just dont think I can control myself that easy in an SS.....kinda proved that in a test drive lol

I refuse to get a '14 due to my personal taste "cough, cough, rear end, cough, cough" so it had to be a 13 or older.

Here in Vegas there are times where it will be way too hot for the top to be down, but at night I will usually have it down.

I took the car right up the Las Vegas Strip on the way home from the dealership and that permagrin has been reborn, I just love the dual mode exhaust in this thing and was driving it with the paddle shifters in sport mode. it sounded sweet going up the Strip.

So if anyone has any hints or tips for me I would really appreciate it

Congrats on the purchase. Hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy ours. In spite if what others have said, we haven't had any problems with ours with the exception of the body kit gaping at the front splitter. Envy you with the dual exhaust mode, as that's what I wanted.

+1. To further his point, sometimes the best part about driving to downtown Houston to watch sporting events is being able to enjoy the drive with the top down It makes watching the Rockets a little more enjoyable and watching Astros a little more bearable
