Wow, all that to save a possum? Sure glad you're OK.

If I would have hit it, it would have been with my wheel. The last time I hit a possum with my wheel, I also lost control but was able to recover.

I only made a small movement to the right but lost it in the new gravel along the side of the road.

Probably just the anticipation, even though its not guaranteed I make it back to Ohio if I land this job I want. Im from Ashland, if you guys ever heard of it its probably because of the college or you stopped to get gas off of I71.

Sorry to hear about your accident Doug, glad you are fine though. Car took the beating pretty well, although its a very good thing you didn't have a passenger from the looks of it!
I've heard of Ashland! I went to Kent State for my first year of college... way back when. So I've seen signs for it, though I've never BEEN there.

And to all my football fans, today was a GREAT day! Bengals win, Steelers lose!! They must know my birthday is coming. Now if the Pats win I'll be even happier.

Guess you didn't have Bridgestones: commercial

Wouldn't have been as cute with a possum screaming.

Figured you were going to trade in for a ZL1.
Yeah, now you can join that group of faithfuls still waiting for a Z28.

You should sell your Welds to me at a discounted rate while you wait for the Z28. I finally got to make some passes at Kilkare, my times were in the low 12.XX there. What a difference track prep makes. If I were to have some good drag radials, it's possible I could see high 11's.

Wow Doug, glad you are okay. You really got to give it to the car for giving it's life to protect the driver.

I'm sure the "next" Possum won't be so lucky, due to "instant flashbacks" as it all unfolds in slow motion.. you will just plow through the little fella and keep on truckin.

I'm obviously not waiting on a Z. I crack up every time I read a thread where someone states they've "waited" two, three, four years for the Z instead of buying a camaro and enjoying it.

Nice job at Kil Kare. You finally got it launched on those Pirellis? Never had heard how you like your new gears? Everybody says they make a huge difference on the strip. I did not make it over there with my Mickey's this year. Doesn't look like I will before next season. Haven't done anything with my stock driveline yet. I don't need another $250 Tshirt. I want to go with the 3.91's as well. Figure that might get me under 12 at last.

I need to take the Welds back off the car soon, but can't lift anything over 5Lbs as I broke an bone in my elbow last week. If you're coming back up this way, let me know.
