No California Edition Mustang. CS is a California Special. Here is my 2011 GT/CS Convertible.

Its just CE stripes and the transformers upgrade rims.. that's all.
I wouldn't mind getting it if i was getting a lower trim, but only one of the stripes appeal to me and its to like the rumble bee stripe on the dodge trucks

Did anyone scroll down and notice it says it's a "previous daily rental"?

It is thanks. My SS has already had the top replaced and I haven't seen any problems with the Mustang.

I DO find it very slightly amusing, in an ironic sorta way, that both woodj's "California Special" Mustang, and cyberLS's (the OP) link to the "California Edition" Camaro, lack a front plate, or even a mounting bracket... since the People's Republic of Kalifornia requires a front plate... maybe the front plate gets duct- taped on?

Just an FYI, there is a historical aspect to the Mustang special editions. Back in the mid to late '60's and very early 70's there where a few produced by Ford for specific markets: California Special, High Country Special Edition, and Twister special editions are three that come to mind. There were a few more as well.
http://sarin.lunarpages.com/~musta4/...ngspecials.htm There were a few Chevrolet dealers creating 3rd gen. RS editions while that option had gone away for a few years. Indianapolis Motor Speedway (and local dealers) created the "Indy Edition" Camaros in 2010 as well. Not all that uncommon a thing for dealers to do sometimes. But the OP one looks bogus to me! |

Looks like it only shows 8 miles on the odometer, so dont know if that daily rental thing is accurate or not.
