Headlights
I posted this elsewhere but this seems to get the most traffic and I need help with some headlights. Alright so I purchased these headlights off someone here which are the U shaped headlights for the non rs 14-15 Camaro. The halogen will not turn on for either side. What can it be. The U shaped rings turn on when fed a source of power but the center halogens just wont work. Thanks. He also claimed they were knew and never used before but oh well I guess I got scammed. But im still trying to see how I can make them work or if it’s possible to switch out that center bulb for an hid kit or something.

Are you sure they're halogen and not what they called the xenon headlight?
Take off one of the covers to identify what kind of bulbs are in there. But from the look of the connectors, you have the HID style. If they're the xenon in your pictures you're missing the ballasts |

I've never seen a halogen wth the projector lens.
Looks like the hid's. Like Gossamer said, you'll need the ballasts. |

The ballasts are this box though right? Because it also has this gray box to plus with the lights I don’t have any pictures of it or them with me to take right now.

which wires were connected to the bulb? Two of the four wires that feed into the outer projector look like connectors for a PNP HID kit

55W are normally a high beam setup. What's behind door #2 with the 3 connectors??
35W is 'normal' for a low beam setup. However manufacturers vary what they run. I've got an RS, so I can't help other than what I'm seeing. |

The ones on the right where connected to that box and then from there to the cars connecter I had someone do it for me because im not very familiar with this and he couldn’t get the low beams and high beams to work only the U shaped rins would work when given power to them.

Those are H7 bulbs I believe. Try replacing them. When I purchased new headlights from the same company for one of my previous trucks, the bulbs went out rather quickly. I replaced them with new white style ones and all was good
They are just regular halogen bulbs though |

those are H7 bulbs, however there's 2 bulbs per headlight. I'm wanting to see what's behind the 'door' with the 3 connectors.
