408 iron with the 1100 hp option. Forged rods/pistons/crank/studs. Was contemplating real hard weather to to do the aluminum block, but didn’t want to spend the extra 2k. Target date sometime in 2022, maybe winter. A lot of the shops out here are packed.

Considering dumping the 1500 and getting a set of twins since I’m going to have a long block to support it. Cost difference will be minimal, but of course I’ll need a fuel system.
Was looking at 57/57 journal (“1000whp”), but for 200$ more I could get 62/62 “ (“1100 whp”). Looking for a better street configuration.

Part of me is telling me.. get a forged 376, slap the blower on there and enjoy…. The other half is telling me don’t you want to sound like a rocket turbine down the street, and go stututututu. Lol

Why not a forged 416 with the blower. I didn't think there was that much of a price delta between the two.
I agree the costs of going TT vs staying centri are considerable. 1200hp vs 900hp. Can't really put 1200 to the ground on the street and if you try to leave from a dig at that level, the 10 bolt will likely voice it's displeasure. I'm with you though, I have a boatload of parts waiting to go into the vert and my wife has said no nitrous in it, but their is a kit sitting on the shelf collecting dust and I would really like to put a Whipple on it. It never ends.

Also, from what read, and people telling me, I should stick with a stock stroke. Also said blower is a little on the small side.
