NO......it will NOT fit......not even close......for a number of reasons. That horn button os made for AFTERMARKET steering wheels that has a 2" hole that it fits into. and more importantly....the AIR BAG is part of the stock horn button assyembly.

yes, the one that Rcfiddy1 posted obviously will, its just a decal ($35) that fits on the stock button.......just not the horn button that the OP posted a EBay link to.

Can someone please tell me "WHO" made this one, and if they can make a custom one? OR, does anyone know where this can be made with custom logo? Desperate! Been looking for a year now. Feel free to shoot me an email battsinsure@gmail.com or call me 609-558-3196. Thanks

The aesthetic creations emblem is garbage. They don't stay on , even with adhesive. I ruined my horn button because of that damn emblem.

Same here. I cleaned it multiple times with soap and then alcohol. One edge kept coming up. It may have been the hot Phoenix summer, I don't know. It found a new home on my engine cover.

I've been wondering about scubbing all of the adhesive from the decal and affixing it with epoxy. >.>

Mine has been on for over a year now. Try using 3m weatherstrip adhesive. Works wonders. Also used a heat gun to soften up emblem to contour around button.

Did you strip off the original adhesive, first?

Aesthetic Creations no more Autobot's
Quote:
We no longer have the printer - it broke down and the cost of fixing it far outweighed the profit we make from the smaller decals. We sold out of the Autobot decals months ago. I believe we have a few just black decals, and possibly some with a chrome outline. But no Autobot or Decepticon design. I'm sorry about that!

If somebody still wants one of these I have the entire airbag portion with the decal already applied (slightly crooked, see picture below) that I replaced. I didn't want to risk having unremovable adhesive left on the airbag so I bought a new one . I will trade you for your stock airbag + the $30 for what I paid for the decal, and we each pay our own shipping.
PM me if you are interested. Last edited by Bluestreak 2010; 08-06-2012 at 04:10 PM. |
