Chevy Deals
Does anyone think Chevy will offer the 20% off deal for the Camaro? Holding out for that if it comes along

At the end of the year maybe but for regular models, doubtful for 1le's, but that's just my opinion.

Yes, you might have to travel to get a 1LE in the color you want though.

If....and that's a big IF.....I don't see the 1LE being any different than the SS. Same model just a package option. Unlike the ZL1 which will probably never offer a discount that big. I can see them doing something to boost slow sales of the 17's as they ramp up 18 production. Mine should be here first part of May and I'm hoping they have some good incentives. |

I don't know the numbers of 1Le's produced compared to non 1le cars but I'm assuming it's a pretty small percentage, I would be willing to bet you do not see any sort of 20% off a 1le package car, I don't think dealers having trouble selling them, I had to go 5 1/2 hours way to get mine granted I only wanted krypton green and they are even more limited. Again just my opinion, I'm not an expert. Perhaps someone can chime in with the production numbers.

Up here (N of the border) current $4G incentive from GM on all Camaros (except ZL1) applies to 1LE as well, as it is "just" an option on a regular 1SS. I'd therefore expect 16-20% specials to apply as well if they come. Last year we had them starting in June on lot cars - I believe 15% of oldest on the lot inventory. Later in the year (Oct) it applied to all stock, incl 2018s. But clearly it can vary.

The 20% offers have typically been on the oldest inventory on the lots. If a 1LE happens to have been on the lot a long time, it could be included. It's just an SS with an option, no diff than a sunroof etc.

That's point I was trying to make, I think there are so few 1le available you won't see many if any of them sitting on dealer lots later this year, of course there are always exceptions.

I think the best chance you have is because they're so incredibly hard to find using searches. They aren't their own model number so the dealers tend to not classify them correctly. You almost have to do a search for 1SS's then visually go through and sort them yourself. Point being, there might be some missed by prospective buyers, if the dealer didn't do a good job of advertising it.
That being said, I think they'll sell out, if people can find them, before the 20% sales get here. |

Today I passed by my local dealer and they were giving $7k to $8k discounts on camaros. However, the dealer did not have one single 1LE in stock.

There's a few I see online for roughly $4000 off. And there's a used 1LE with 600 miles in Ohio for $41k but that's a long haul

I got a little over 4K off mine a month ago but that's no where near the 20% you were inquiring about. If you want a 17 1le I would suggest finding your best current deal possible and going to buy one, no guarantee there will be any at end of the year. Technically it's just a package but it's a $6500 package so in actuality it's really like a separate model for all intensive purposes. I see camaros as Lt's, SS's, 1LE's and ZL1's but that's just the way I see them in 4 different category's.

Also I see you're in Charlotte which I am basically also, nothing against dealers here but I went to Florida for my car, but it was simply because it was one of the closest krypton green 1Le's nobody around here had one when I was looking.

I'm looking at a white one at City Chevrolet right now. There's a red one in Tennessee I'm looking at too, it's cheaper because if rebates but there's already a deposit on it so I don't know whether to wait or pull the trigger on the white one. The one in TN has $4,500 worth of rebates and the one in Charlotte has $2,500 worth
