Engine high temp
Has anyone encountered the A/C off due to engine high temp indication?

This has happened to me a few times, nothing to worry about from what I was told. Just unplug the ecm harness for a second and plug it back in and everything will reset.

My builder says if it was really overheating the PCM would shut the engine down..

Could've been the thermostat sticking open or faulty sensor.. The computer can't make sense of either one and diverts to a safe mode to include running the fans and killing the a/c...
