Take a look at the features of each controller and price, both are good. Gfb I felt was the better value and is what I use.

L99 auto trans will not like over 650 whp. 12-13psi on e85 will be wayyyy more than that trans can handle. And don't think in terms of psi. Psi will vary with setups, it's the power it puts out you need to think in terms of. I made 640 on 8 psi on e85 for reference

Trans will limit power, not motor. With the twin pump and 1000s you have enough fuel. Basically turn the boost up until you hit ~640-650 and be happy until you can upgrade the tranny.

That maybe 8psi, or 10psi. Don't get caught up on boost. In the end boost doesn't matter.

Got it. 650 is the general range of hp that the trans will handle. I have enough fuel ability to grow later once i get trans and rear end upgraded.

I will do a little research on those two controllers. Thanks for the advice fif gen power

FYI the auto cars don't break rears super easy like the manual cars do. You can run 800++whp to your stock rear with just a Truetrack installed. If you run on prepped surface much, you could toss in some deeper gears while you're at it.
Because of that, a transmission upgrade is really much more important. And again while doing that, if you are a drag race type guy, do a Circle-D stall at the same time.

I wouldn't focus on the limit of PSI the engine could take but more the RWHP. You say you are in a higher elevation so that's going to be different than the "other guy" and it also depends on cam, heads and compression for the most part. Only when you get into more then the stock bottom end can hold as far as RWHP do you need to worry about PSI and that would be things like head studs, block and valve train for the most part. So in other words crank it up to like 700 or 750 if you have the fuel to be safe.

From what I hear, 700-750bhp is maxing out the stock bottom-end.

Not IMO. I know over several stock LS3 living a long happy life between 800-1050rwhp.

It really depends on application and use though and octane.

AGP had one at the shop last week. CPR has one sitting in his shop waiting for a 4l80 swap too. They have done plenty of them. Just need to have Kevin modify the kit for 4l80.
